Yes, this seems a much cleaner design and I'm also excited about it.

I'd also like to see a package manager for the sharing of Muddle code. 
Jesse McGrew had indicated they'd be happy to collaborate on things like a 
package manager API.

The idea of a JavaScript code generator seems neat. I'd not considered that 
idea before. Since it seems that it should be possible to develop code 
generators for any target I'm having fun imagining some ideas.
